We're proud to announce our work was recognized by AdFed Minnesota in The Show 2021! Kudos to our amazing client partners Target and Petmate, and congrats to all the other winners for their inspiring creative work.
X-FCTR won a Gold pin in the Innovative Use of Interactive/Technology category for Petmate: Virtual Fetch Challenge and a Bronze pin in the Multiple Events category for Target: Boo Avenue. The Show 2021 is the first work we’ve entered as a new agency, so we’re thrilled to bring home some hardware.
Petmate: Virtual Fetch Challenge
The Virtual Fetch Challenge was a first-of-its kind event that engaged consumers in a live, virtual game of fetch. To make this happen, we partnered with North Shore Animal League of America, setting up several automatic ball launchers and cameras at the shelter.
We then created a mobile experience where dog lovers could launch a virtual ball with a touch of a button and see a real Chuckit! Ball thrown on a streaming live feed.
For every virtual ball thrown, a real Chuckit! Ball was donated to North Shore Animal League of America. Three participating rescue dogs were voted Chuckit! Champions and the first people to adopt them received a premium adoption kit featuring all kinds of products, supplies and treats.
Target: Boo Avenue
Target wanted to bring the magic of Halloween to life through a thoughtful experience that sparked joy and/or provided a fun solution to help guests reimagine traditions during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Boo Avenue was created and became a contactless drive-through trunk-or-treat experience in 80 markets across the US. Four larger-than-life treat bins gave a new meaning to the term “Monster Car” while doubling as fun photo ops. The cars were staffed by Brand Ambassadors and Target Team Members that played fun games and interacted with the guests as they rolled through the experience, all while remaining 100% contactless.
