Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many celebrations, rituals and family routines were shelved in 2020. Target wanted to bring the magic of Halloween to life through an experience that provided a fun, contactless solution to help guests reimagine traditions.
We invited ghouls, goblins and guests to Boo Avenue – a drive-through trunk-or-treat experience in 80 markets across the country. Target’s Hyde and Eek! characters were brought to life through custom designed vehicle costumes, staffed by masked Brand Ambassadors who played fun games and entertained guests as they rolled through the experience.
The larger-than-life treat bins gave new meaning to the term “Monster Car” while doubling as fun photo ops.
On Halloween day, we scared up fun for guests at 80 Target stores nationwide.
