X-FCTR receives 2021 Ex Award!

X-FCTR took top honors at the 2021 Ex Awards for our National Fetch Day campaign for client Petmate. The Ex Awards is the world’s largest recognition program for event marketing professionals, and the only competition judged entirely by brand marketers.

This year the Ex Awards were combined with the Experience Design & Technology Awards to create a supersized awards ceremony that recognizes programs in over 50 categories. Three finalists are recognized for each category, with the Ex Award going to the best-in-category.

“We are thrilled to be recognized by Event Marketer. This show represents the best of the best in experiential marketing and we're proud to share the stage with so many brilliant and innovative experience campaigns. To know that National Fetch Day made such an impression — especially with the challenges brought on by the pandemic — is very rewarding.” — Matt Miller, President, Executive Creative Director

#MakeFetchHappen during COVID-19

The Petmate National Fetch Day campaign was a massive success with over 1.6B impressions and over 6,000 pieces of organic consumer-generated content submissions of pets by their proud owners, including the dog whisperer himself, Cesar Millan. Two-hundred-and-fifty lucky pet owners received at-home party boxes to celebrate National Fetch Day.  The fun did not stop there as people across the nation engaged with the "throw one, give one" Virtual Fetch Challenge. This interactive website allowed people to throw a virtual ball online and launch a real Chuckit! ball at a rescue shelter in New York, all from the safety of their home.

“Being recognized for a successful campaign is such a gratifying way to look back and appreciate the people that made it happen. We would like to thank our clients, partners, Event Marketer, and all our four-legged friends who played a role in the success of this program!” — Keri Saline, VP, Director of New Business
